Artist Statement

I’m drawn to concepts of fragmentation, juxtaposition and the relationship that occurs within. Specifically in emphasizing the distortion of domesticated spaces. My imagery and themes derive primarily from the spaces in which I inhabit; evoking a play between senses of security, psychological distress and a fascination for voyeurism. Contrasting and combining components of interior and exterior landscapes, in turn, allows for the creation of new spaces, often illogical and contradicting; a dreamscape of sorts.
